I recently took a trip to the Lake District which is located in the Northwest of England in the county of Cumbria. I've been going here for the past few years with family, each time we stay in the same cottage and the owner is super nice and makes sure our stay is problem free. In the Lake District the nature is seamless, the large beautiful trees, valleys and mountains as well as the lakes themselves are breathtaking.
We hiked up a few mountains which was super fun, I would recommend going in a group its super fun when there are lots of you. It's so peaceful, its not crowded at all, you feel at peace when your there... its like rehab sanctuary. It's a great get away if you don't have time to go abroad and you save money whilst relaxing and discovering new places. The highlight of my trip is the National trust Aira Force where you can have a mini hike and take walks, there is a grand waterfall in the centre which is absolutely amazing.
